Since 2008, Runge|Takeya has crafted luxurious accessories for discerning musicians worldwide.

In early 2017, we turned our focus to a universal frustration: traditional guitar strap security. For decades, players were forced to rely on bulky, outdated strap locks or cheap rubber washers just to keep their instruments safe. We knew there had to be a better way.

The goal was simple: reinvent the strap button to provide absolute security without the extra bulk. After years of meticulous design, prototyping, and rigorous testing, we introduced the patented Removable Strap Button System.
